Christopher Branstetter

June 20, 1982 — July 31, 2013

Christopher (Kit) Quinn Branstetter, 31, of Kansas City Missouri passed away on Wednesday, July 31st, 2013.  Visitation will be from 2-4 pm on Tuesday August 6th, 2013 with funeral services immediately following at 4 pm at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home at 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City, Missouri  64155.  When services are concluded, friends and family are invited to celebrate Kit's life with us at his brother, Mike's home. Kit was born June 20, 1982 in Overland Park, Kansas to Dennis Branstetter and Cheryl Peterson, and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.  He attended school in the Park Hill School District.  Kit enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family being silly and obnoxious, enjoying family barbeques, volleyball, riding motorcycles, remodeling homes, and watching movies.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his baby boy building Lego's and train tracks, and snuggling on the couch watching cartoons together.  Kit is survived by his seven year old son, Chase Zayden Branstetter, his mother, Cheryl Peterson, his father, Dennis Branstetter, brother, Matthew Hosmann, brother, Mark Hosmann, brother, Michael Branstetter, brother, Derek Branstetter, sister-in-law, Cara Branstetter, one niece, Mickaya, four nephews, Ty, Michael, Braedon, Benson, grandmother, Mary Beth Branstetter Schuyler,  grandfather, Harold Schuyler and his girlfriend, Alyssa Hanks.  Kit had a heart of gold and his big heart, contagious laugh, and magical smile will be missed by many.  Gone way too soon, loved forever.  In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been created for his son Chase Branstetter.
