Christine Burnett

Christine Denise Burnett, 66, of Kansas City, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2022. She was born to the late Thomas Lloyd Johnson and the late Nyla Soelter on May 25, 1955.

Christine was a woman of great kindness. She was sweet to those around her and loved fiercely. She lived for her children and her grandchildren. They could do no wrong in her eyes. One of their great memories will be her classic wave as she said goodbye. Christine held those that she loved dear to her heart and will be remembered for being someone that you could find comfort in.

She enjoyed walking, biking, and taking pictures at any chance that she could. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, and brother in law: Gene Elkins.

She is survived by her three children: Neil (Summer) Harris, Sarah (Eric) Alderman, Laura (Chance) Baker; brother: Tom (Lynn) Johnson; sisters: Francie (Dave) Gedminas, Claudia Elkins; grandchildren: Neil Jr., Taylor, Taryn, Jaxon, Carter, Riley, Peyton, Leo, Nathan, Finn, and Reid; great grandson: Bentley, and one great grandchild on the way.
