Cheryl Jonson

CHERYL (CHERI) LEE JONSONOn April 17, 2013, the Lord wrapped His loving arms around Cheri Jonson and carried her Home. Born Nov 22, 1945 in KC, MO to Fred Leon Jones and Rose Elizabeth Bellassie, she graduated from NE High School, earned a Masters +40 in Ed.from CMSC, was a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority, and was a retired teacher after 31 years from the Blue Springs School District. Cheri is survived by her husband, Gary Jonson, Kearney, MO; brother, John F. Jones (Marsha) Parkville, MO; sister, Darlene McAlexander (Cleo), Lawrence, KS; daughter, Lindsey Jones and granddaughter Jocelyn Hebelka, Blue Springs, MO; son, Ryan Snider, Indep., MO; stepdaughter, Kelly Limpic (Jeff); grandson, Dylan Limpic and granddaughter, Dylanie Limpic, Grain Valley, MO, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Cheri was an extremely loving and caring woman whose first priority was God and her Faith. An avid photographer who could often be found behind the lens of her camera, Cheri also loved to scrapbook. If not reading, gardening or traveling, Cheri could be found cuddling and playing with her puppy, Lucy Lu. Above all, Cheri loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Mon, April 22 at 6:00-8:00 PM with funeral services on Tues, April 23 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St, KC, MO. Burial to follow there at the cemetery. Memorials in her honor can be made to the Am.
