Charles "Charlie" Barnes

Charles “Charlie” Dean Barnes, 57, of Kansas City, MO passed away at his home on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Charlie was born September 18, 1963 to George and Carol (Rothschild) Barnes. He was a graduate of Oak Park High School, Class of ’81. Charlie was a lifelong Nascar, Chiefs and Royals fan, also enjoying golf, fishing, bowling, and pool. He was a lithographer by trade and a member of Local M235 for over 30 years.

Charlie is survived by his mother, Carol (David) Bettison of Smithville, 2 sons: Michael and Matthew; 5 sisters: Debbie, Missy, Brigitte, Bettina, and Sabina; a brother, Shane; along with his grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Charlie was preceded in death by his father, George in 2003.

Graveside services will be at Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City, MO on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 2pm.
