Charles Alan Cloud of Kansas City, MO passed away October 20, 2016. He was born Sept. 5, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas. He was a graduate of Wichita State University and Kansas University.
Alan was an educator, teaching advanced science classes in the Park Hill School District. He retired in 2005 after 30 years of service.
Alan leaves his wife, Sally Cloud, of KC, his mother, Winifred Jo Cloud, of Wichita, his son, Matthew (Mary) Cloud, daughter, Michelle (Danny) Olguin, daughter, Tonya Salazar, sister, Gloria (Terry) Lansdowne, son-in-law, Kevin Weaver, of Dallas, 9 grandchildren: Tyler and Owen Cloud, Joseph and Zach Salazar, Deserae (Dan) Bruns, Jake Olguin, Olivia, Noah and Manny Weaver and 1 great-grandson, Charles Kent Bruns; 4 nieces and 3 nephews, sisters-in-law; Susan Rasmussen and Jill (Nick) Karatinos; brother-in-law Bill Rasmussen.
Alan was preceded in death by his father, Charles Cloud and his daughter, Michelle Weaver.
Visitation will be Mon., Oct. 24, 2016 from 5-8 PM at Terrace Park FH, 801 NW 108th Street (169 HWY & Shoal Creek Pkwy) KCMO. Services will be Tues., Oct. 25, 2016 at 3 PM at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church, 7600 NW Barry Rd, KCMO 64153. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery.
