Charlene “Chazy” Dibben, 84, of Kansas City, MO, died at North Kansas City Hospice House on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. She was born September 24, 1932 in Battlefield, MO to the late Almus and Merle (Meese) Owen.
Chazy loved playing cards and other games with her family. She enjoyed crocheting—making a number of afghans; she worked in the tire business for a number of years, she and her husband John enjoyed traveling, fishing and being with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 37 years, John Dibben, children; Marty (Sue) Hurst and Karla (Pat Parkin) Hurst; step-children Jack (Ruth) Dibben, Karen (L.B.) Johnson and Nancy (Carl) Howe. Granddaughter Jamie, step-grandchildren; Kristin, Billy and Bailey, and four great-grandchildren.
Chiefs and Royals attire preferred for a casual gathering and celebration of life Friday, December 16, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
