Carolyn R. Riddle

Carolyn Riddle, 83, of Kansas City, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024. Born in Hoke County, North Carolina, Carolyn moved to Kansas City where she married the love of her life Virgil. Together, they raised three children and built a family filled with love and cherished memories.

Carolyn had a zest for life, enjoying square dancing and camping with Virgil before he passed. She was known for her passion for cooking and hosted countless family dinners, nurturing family traditions that brought everyone together.

A devoted member of Rock Falls Baptist Church for 10 years, Carolyn’s faith was central to her life. She loved the Lord and was actively involved in serving others. She participated in the Red Hatters Club and the KC Northland Sams Club.

Carolyn dedicated 40 years to working at Farmland, where she made lasting friendships. Her spirit, warmth, and love will be missed by all who knew her.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Conoly; her husband Virgil Riddle; her sons Mike Riddle and Jamie Faircloth.

She is survived by her daughter Michelle Riddle, her brother; Bobby Conoly; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Terrace Park on Thursday October 17, from 6:00-8:00. Graveside service will be held at the Powersville Cemetery on Friday October 18, at 12:30 in the afternoon. Located at 13376 Birch Trl, Powersville, Mo 64672
