Carolyn Ellis

Carolyn Ellis (Coker) lost her battle with MS on December 7, 2019. Carolyn was born on October 15, 1948 to Paul and Benita Coker. She graduated from Park Hill high school in 1966 and went on to graduate from the University of Missouri’s Journalism School. She worked at PBI Gordon for 20+ years. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by husband, Samuel Ellis; son, Chad Jones; grandchildren, Halle and Cameron Jones; sister, Paula Pickle (Coker); niece, Jodie Mealer; great nieces, Alexis, Ashton, and Aviel Mealer; and many friends. Donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
