Carol Sue Thompson, 70, of Kansas City, MO passed away July 15, 2017. She was born March 31, 1947 in Kansas City to the late Donnald and Aline (Bailey) Thompson.
Carol was married to Vincent Thompson and together they spent over 46 years before his passing. Carol had a passion for quilting. She was a member of the Northland Quilters Guild and the Bernina Software Club. Carol loved spending time with her family, scuba diving in the Caribbean with her husband and making many trips to Branson.
Those left to cherish Carol’s memory include her son, Christopher Thompson; 2 grandchildren, Brooklynn and Darryn (DJ); brother, Donnald Thompson and sister, Jada Lizzini.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 12-2 PM with services at 2 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City, MO. Entombment to follow in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Online condolences may be left at terraceparkfh.com
