Carol Hopper

Carol A. (Cowan) Hopper, age 72, passed away October 11, 2010 at her home in Kansas City MO. She was preceded in death by her parents W. Paul Cowan and Ellen (Barber) Cowan, her brother Wally Cowan, and her former husband Harley Hopper. She graduated from East High School in 1955, worked 13 years at City National Bank (UMB), and retired in 1999 after 23 years with the City of Gladstone, the last 13 as City Collector. She leaves behind daughter Suzanne Gray and husband Todd; son Bill Hopper and wife Phyllis; grandchildren Ashli, Alex, Ian, and Cami; step-grandchildren Scott, Chris, Kassie, Becky and Sarah; great grandchildren Addisen and Jayden; and her dear cousin Jeanne Boyd. Funeral service will be held at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home at 2pm on Saturday October 16, followed by a private entombment. Family will receive friends from 1-2pm prior to the service.
