Carol Bovard

Carol Jean Bovard, daughter of the late Alfred & Elsie (Odell) Wooldridge, was born on May 17, 1938 in Bartlesville, OK and departed this life on January 16, 2019 in Lawson, Missouri. At the time of her passing she was 80 years of age.

At an early age her family moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she was raised and attended school. Shortly after High School she was united in marriage to Ronald Bovard and to this union five children were born, four of whom survive her. She had a passion with the arts, she loved to paint and draw. She was a member at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. The family would like to give special thanks to Kansas City Hospice and Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church for all their loving care.

Carol was preceded in passing by her parents; her husband; one child, William Allen Bovard; and two siblings, Joyce Dietz and Donald Wooldridge. She is survived by her children, Andrew Bovard, Carol Lynn Wilson, Tommy Bovard, Paul Bovard; three siblings, Alfred “Sonny” Wooldridge, Jan Crawford, Karen Quirk; and eight grandchildren. She also leaves behind several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and family who will truly miss her.
