Carmetta Brennan

Carmetta Lynn Brennan, daughter of the late Lyndon and Helen Knight, was born on January 20, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri and departed this life on January 28, 2019 in North Kansas City, Missouri. At the time of her passing she was 66 years of age.

Carmetta spent her early years of childhood in Kansas City but later graduated High School in Mount Ayr, Iowa. Shortly after graduation she was united in marriage to David Fletchall and to this union three children were born, all of whom survive her. Later in life she met John Brennan and to this union one child was born, who also survives her. She worked at Colgate-Palmolive and later worked in graphic design. Her favorite job title was being a mother and raising her children. She enjoyed bird watching, reading, watching movies, photography, quilting, and discussing politics. She was very strong, determined, caring and empathetic towards everyone she met.

Carmetta was preceded in passing by her parents; and her step-dad, Burl Stull. She is survived by her four children, Thad (Amanda) Fletchall, Tara (Brendan) Fletchall, Matt Fletchall, and Andrea (Matthew) Tucker; three siblings, Jacqueline Sparks, Deborah Knight and Bill (Faye) Stull; 11 grandchildren, Devin McDaniel, Halley (Nate) Anderson, Dylan Patrick, Alexis (Sylvia) Luna, Haley Fletchall, Nathan Fletchall, Elius Fletchall, Trinity Fletchall, Ethan McDaniel, Mariah Tucker and Lucas Tucker; and one great-grandchild, Brooklyn. She also leaves behind several other friends and family who will all truly miss her.
