Carl Stahl

Carl Cline Stahl passed away February 2, 2012. Carl was born in Junction City, KS April 11, 1929 to Edward J. Stahl and Reta Cline Stahl. He graduated from Junction City High School in 1947 and worked in retail sales until 1964; at which time he was employed as a groundman out of Local #53 IBEW Line Construction. He moved to the Kansas City area in 1966 and became a member of LU #53 IBEW, which he retired from the outside construction unit in 1992. He was employed by the non-bargaining unit of Local 53 part time after retirement.He was united in marriage to Dorothy Autry on September 7, 1949 in Newton, KS. To this union four children were born, Alan Randal Stahl, deceased, Carol L. (Gary) Cramer of Basehor, KS, Shelli Catalano of Kansas City, MO and Joseph E. (Crystal) Stahl of Kansas City, MO. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 1 deceased grandchild;  11 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, William Stahl of Junction City, KS and Robert Stahl of El Dorado, KS, 1 sister, Elizabeth N. Hooper of Sierra Vista, AZ and numerous other nieces and nephews.Memorial services to celebrate Carl's life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, February 11 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park, visitation begins at 2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to NorthCare Hospice House.
