Bonnie Groves

Bonnie Beatrice "Nonie" Reeve Groves peacefully went to Heaven July 16, 2011. Visitation will be at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home in Kansas City on Thursday, July 21 from 6-7 pm followed by a memorial service at 7pm.She was born to Guy & Nevada Reeve in Gila Bend, AZ.  She became an airline stewardess for TWA at 18. She also worked for Hallmark's Kaleidoscope for 5 years and Liberty Hospital as their Manager of Volunteers for almost 20 years.  After retiring, she enjoyed working on many projects for charities, including newborn baby blankets, cancer hats & pillows, and scarfs as fundraisers. Over the years she shared her many talents by being actively involved in anything her kids did, but, her favorite "job" title was being called Nonie by her two grandchildren who were her pride & joy.She is preceded in death by her parents; older siblings Raymond Reeve & Louise Reeve Duke; and her husband KC Police Officer James E Groves.  She is survived by her children Cami Carleen & William Guy; grandkids Shelby Grace & Carter James; brothers George Reeve and Virgil Reeve; many beloved nieces & nephews; and her many very special friends including Sir Don.
