Bobby D. Sanders, 82, of Smithville, MO passed away September 16, 2016. He was born August 18, 1934 in Oregon County, MO to the late Frank and Lura (Johnson) Sanders.
Bobby loved all sports. He particularly loved the KC Royals and was delighted by the recent success of his team.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Alma D. Sanders and sister, Christine Turnham.
Those left to cherish Bobby’s memory include his 2 sisters, Nadine (Bill) Hearn, Melba (Paul) Brown; children, Dana (Mike) Nickell, Keith (Laura) Sanders, Greg (Lisa) Sanders; 6 grandchildren, Evan (Mandy), Erin (James), Amy (Jason), Derek (Brittany), Trent (Rachel), Blake; 7 great-grandchildren, Ava, Bennett, Harvey, Carly, Dani (Kyle), Sunny, Laurali and 1 great-great-grandson, Ryker.
Visitation will be Friday, September 23, 2016 from 1-3 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th Street (169 HWY and Shoal Creek Pkwy) Kansas City, MO. Private graveside services. Online condolences may be left at TerraceParkFH.com.
