Bob Moon

Bob D. Moon 84, of Liberty, MO died April 4, 2016 at Riverside Nursing and Rehab. He was born September 14, 1931 on the family farm in Morgan County, Missouri, the son of the late Oliver M. Moon and Bertha Cramer Moon.
Bob graduated from Versailles High School in 1949; retired from the Teamsters Local 41, after 33 years of service, working for Jones Truck Line (JTL). He proudly served our country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and spending time with family and friends.
Bob was the loving husband of Norma (Taylor) Moon, dear dad of Cheri Stanley, cherished grandpa of Tyler, beloved brother of Leila Paschang and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents Bob is preceded in death by brother, Donald Moon, half-brothers; Carl Moon, and Marion “Mac” Moon, half-sisters; Delpha Carey, Ruth Taylor, and Bertha Mae Mais.
Honoring Bob’s wishes, guests are encouraged to wear jeans and Royals gear to the visitation and service. Visitation will be Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 12 PM until time of service at 1 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Interment with military honors will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 3846 W 75th St, Prairie Village, KS 66208.
