Billie Laverne Wise CluteBillie Laverne Wise Clute, 90, faithful servant of Jesus Christ, born May 11, 1921, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Billie was a life-time resident of KC and Gladstone. She worked as daytime manager, instructor and promoter at NKC Pro Bowl for over 30 years, retiring in 1991. During her tenure, she was a great promoter of the bowling industry, and implemented a senior citizen bowling program, as she had a special affinity for senior citizens, and was loved by many. She was preceded in her passing by her devoted & beloved husband of 64 years, George, her mother, Belle Earl, brothers Lee and Loyal Wise, and sister Irene Hoff . She is survived by her three loving sons and their spouses; George & Sharon, Greg & Jeanette, and Gary & Jayme, and three grandchildren; Jody, Tiffany and Allison Clute. Billie is also survived by her most specially loved sister Juanita (Neevus) Dowell, George Hoff and Michael Prine. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 5th at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, 169 Highway & NW 108; burial in Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday May 4th, at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home.
