Beverly Kindred

Beverly Helen Kindred, 84, of Platte City, MO died on April 7, 2014 at her home. Funeralservices will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 11 at the Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Entombment in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Nashua Baptist Church.Beverly was born on December 3, 1929 in Kansas City, MO and moved to Smithville, MO where she graduated from high school in 1947. She married Ralph Kindred, of Platte City, MO in 1949. They lived in Platte City where Beverly was a homemaker while their girls were young. Later, she attended classes at Missouri Western University and enjoyed a short career at Trans World Airlines. Beverly loved her family unconditionally. She also enjoyed her friends at church, bridge clubs, exercise classes and other activities.She was a member of the Nashua Baptist Church and the V.F.W. Ladies' Auxiliary.Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Helen Allen, her husband, RalphKindred, her brother Roy L. Allen, Jr. and her sister Marguerite Allen.Beverly is survived by three daughters, Linda (Michael) Douglas of Richmond, MO, Jean (Chuck) Bishop of Weatherby Lake, MO and Jane Hill of Kansas City, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a sister, Mildred Asher of Smithville.Arrangements under the direction of Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, Kansas City, MO.
