Betty Sue Jones, 75, of Parkville, Missouri passed away on September 28, 2022.

Betty Sue Hudson Jones was born on April 18th, 1947 to Corydon & Lula Hudson. Betty attend Southwest Baptist College and graduated with her degree in 1970. On August 15, 1970 she married the love of her life Philip Jones. With tenderness and the integrity of Christ, Betty taught at Nashua & Meadow Brook Elementary Schools, 2nd & 3rd grades, for 29 years. Betty was a member of Origami USA. After retiring, she and Phil worked as a team instructing students, girl scout councils and teachers about origami across the entire Midwest. Being active in church was very important to Betty. For several years she was Pastor George McDowell’s secretary. Betty loved to serve her Savior, Jesus Christ by using her many talents through programs such as Vacation Bible School, Sewing Sisters, a deacon’s wife & a Sunday School Teacher!

Betty Sue Hudson Jones is proceeded in death by Corydon & Lula Hudson - parents, Dr. Philip & Dorothy Jones - in- laws, Ruby Setzer & Ruth McCartney- sisters, Richard Setzer - brother-in-law & Celia Setzer - niece. She is survived by Philip Jones - husband, Dr. John Jones - brother-in-law, Dr. Norma Partida Jones - sister-in-law, Matthew Jones - nephew, Roger Setzer - nephew, Dewayne Setzer (Sonia Setzer) - nephew, Ronda Mattingly (Jim Mattingly) - niece, and many great nieces and nephews. As well as a few great, great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Gashland Baptist Church on Saturday, October 1st, with visitation from 10am-11am, with funeral services following at 11am, and burial at Terrace Park Cemetery.
