Barbara Maxine Boyce, 74, of Kansas City, Kansas died at her home on Monday, September 21, 2015. She was born August 1, 1941 in Kansas City, KS to the late Hansel Howard Harold Boyce and Burley Maxine Woods Boyce.
Barbara was an avid collector, spending countless hours with family at garage sales looking for items for her many collections including Coca-Cola, Betty Boop, Elvis, Nutcrackers, Bells, Blue Willow Dishes, Royal Copenhagen Plates, and others. She also collected the hearts of those who loved her.
She was the loving wife of 45 years to Mike Boyce, dear mother of the late Sharol (Larry Surviving) Hyatte, Roy Hilt Jr, Donald (Robin) Hilt Sr. and Michelle (David) Lynne; Cherished grandmother of Melanie (Jesse) Chance, Jessica Hilt, Donald (Jae Bea Stinnett) Hilt Jr. Bradley Hilt, Kodi Lynne, Jami Lynne, Dustin (Sarah) Hyatte, Thomas (Tyanna) Hyatte, Emily Hyatte, Cody Hyatte, Sally Hyatte, Abigail Hyatte, Matthew Hilt, Mark Hilt and Melissa Johnson, Great-grandmother of Spencer, Simona, Salem, Isabelle, Bruce, Kayden, Hannah, Jeremiah and Mia. She was a loving aunt, cousin and friend.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 10 AM Until time of service at Noon at Overland Park Funeral Chapel 8201 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66204.
