Ashby F. Edmonds, 88 of Kansas City, Mo, died at Garden Valley Nursing Home on Sunday, September 3, 2017. He was born December 5, 1928 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Ashby and Gertrude (Wallace) Edmonds.
He is survived by his wife Shirley, sons Ron (Linda) Edmonds and Don (Linda) Edmonds, sisters Evelyn, her husband Austin and Janice; brother, Kenneth and his wife Joy; sister-in-law Juanita and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Ashby and Shirley were married 69 years; he was a faithful member of Gashland Baptist Church, a pipe-fitter for fire sprinkler systems and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #13.
Visitation will be Friday, September 8, 2017 from 1-2 PM; funeral service will be Friday at 2 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
