Ardene Lenore Bonds passed away at the age of 89. She was born on October 3, 1934, in LeRoy, KS. She was born to the late Walter and Gladys Pocock. Ardene's life was filled with love, creativity, and a mischievous spirit that brought joy to those around her.
Ardene enjoyed cross stitch and had a special passion for food and cooking, finding joy in making meals for her family. With a passion for collectibles, she found beauty in every piece she came across. Her mind remained sharp by engaging in crossword puzzles, Sudoku, and cryptograms. In her later years, she discovered a deep love for adult coloring books. An artist at heart, she created admirable pieces that were displayed and enjoyed by many.
Her playful nature shone through at the Silvercrest at College View Senior Living center, where she resided. Always teasing the staff and playing tricks on family and friends, Ardene knew how to bring laughter into any room.
Preceding her in death were her loving husband William Bonds; as well as her grandchildren, Laura, and Brett Kunkle. She leaves behind her children: daughter, Kim (Lief) Yauk; son, Mark (Katrina) Bonds; grandchildren Jesse Kunkle, Ava Bonds, Hannah Bonds.
Ardene Lenore Bonds leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and creativity that will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She touched the lives of many and will be fondly remembered for her vibrant spirit and zest for life. May she rest in eternal peace.
