Anna (Calhoun) LuskMay 31, 1937 to May 16, 2013Our Anna passed away suddenly of a cerebral hemorrhage. Anna and her identical twin sister, Alice, were born in Chicago, May 31, 1937 to Clifford and Maude Calhoun. Alice died at the age of three and Anna has grieved over the loss of her best friend and sister, not understanding at the time where her sister went. She greatly looked forward to seeing Alice in that great unknown called Heaven. Also meeting again her parents, who she deeply missed, and one brother, five other sisters, three of which died at birth. She is survived by her husband, Franklin; two sons, Jeffrey and Shane, along with their wives and three grandchildren. Also one special sister, Betty Taylor, who Ann talked to everyday and her husband Robert and a brother-in-law in California, plus many nephews and nieces. Anna cared greatly for other people and loved sending cards and calling friends on occasions she thought were important to them. In her later years, Anna loved talking to perfect strangers wherever she met them and they seemed to enjoy it, too. Anna will be greatly missed by many people, some of who called her almost daily. Anna had her faults; she wasn't perfect, but tried to be a good person and will be missed by many. Her visitation will be Sunday, May 19th from 4 to 6pm at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Chapel. Her funeral service will be 10am, Monday, May 20th at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Chapel with burial to follow.
