Ann Poston

Ann Genevieve Poston, 80, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away, Friday, April 21, 2017, peacefully at home in Kansas City, MO. Ann was born July 28, 1936 in Sioux City, IA to Francis and Marie Stanton Gales. She married Gerald Poston, June 27, 1959 and has been married for 57 years. Ann was a Nurse Practitioner, and loved her work in Psychology. She enjoyed going to plays and catching a good movie with her husband. She was a vibrant woman who enjoyed her family. She also loved cooking, especially around the holidays where she could cook and spend time with her family. Ann and Gerald also traveled checking out 47 of the 50 states, and several European countries.
She is preceded in death by both parents, a sister, Helen Zolner, and a brother, Bill Gales.
She is survived by her husband Gerald of the home, three children; Greg (Kelly) Poston, of Shawnee, KS, Mary Ann (Paul) of Huntington Beach, CA, and Susan (Brian) Magnuson, of Virginia. Also surviving are two sisters; Fran (Walter) Stanwood and Mary Fer, five grandchildren; Sarah Ann and Charles Warren, Kelsey and Courtney Poston, and Sean Magnuson, and many nieces and nephews.
