Andrew Michael Tyhurst, age 43, of Kansas City, MO lost his battle with cancer on July 5, 2017 in Carterville, GA. A memorial mass will be held 2:30 PM, Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City, MO 64155. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Jamie’s Wish Foundation in Andy’s honor, www.jamieswish.org.
Andrew Michael Tyhurst was born October 14, 1973 in Kansas City, MO. Our beloved Andy fought the battle of his life for the last 2 years, never giving up. His many passions consisted of family, baseball, friends, and theatre. Unfortunately, he was unable to finish his screenplay before going home with the Lord. His love of baseball has been passed down to his 5 nephews. He was loved by many, and will be cherished forever. Andy is survived by his parents, Mike and Kathy; brother, Adam and sister, Abby Porter; his 5 nephews: Christian, Michael, Luke, Travis and Brandon as well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
