Amelia “Meals” Meyer, 9, of KCMO, passed away at Children's Hospital on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. She was born in North Kansas City, Missouri on June 1, 2007.
She was an amazing girl who touched so many lives-- #AmeliasWish, was to make the world a better place-- she did this by championing trash clean up at Macken Park and other locations throughout the Kansas City Metro area and beyond.
"Meals" was the loving daughter of Dan Meyer, and Jill (Bruce Brown) Meyer; favorite sister of Carson Meyer, cherished granddaughter of Wick and Janie Pickard and Bob and Linda Clark. Dear Niece of Ben (Katie) Clark, Tish (Mark) Svoboda and Sandy Meyer. She will also be missed by her cousins, friends and 2 cats, Sarge and Callie
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 A.M., Sat., Nov. 5, 2016 at Terrace Park Lakeside Chapel, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) KCMO. The Visitation and Gathering will follow from 12-2 PM at the Funeral Home. Trash Clean-up and Gathering at Macken Park 3 PM; bring your trash bags, gloves and whatever you need to honor #AmeliasWish.
