Allen Coleman

Allen L. Coleman, 57, Kansas City, Missouri died April 13, 2011 at home.  Allen was born September 11, 1953 in Monmouth, IL the son of Roy A. and Barbara M. (Bailey) Coleman.  He graduated from Galesburg Senior High School in 1972.  He worked for nearly 30 years in the field of Corporate Theft and Loss Prevention.  He married Mary Russell in March 1984 in Denver, Colorado.  He loved to Barbeque, go camping, entertain, and spend time with his family and friends.Allen is survived by his wife Mary, daughter and son-in-law Ashley and Ethan Barton, and daughter Shauntay, all of Kansas City, MO; one brother, Gregory L. Coleman of Orlando, FL; and four sisters, Kathleen M. Coleman of Davenport, IA; Susan (Ken) Henderson of Virginia; Carolyn K. Ross, Chicago, IL; and Joy L. (Kirk) Johnson, Davenport, IA.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents.A Memorial service will be held in celebration of Allen's life on Saturday, April 16, 2011, 2PM at Mount Moriah Terrace Park in Kansas City, MO.  Memorials to Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter.
