Alice Perry

Kathleen Perry, 91, of recently of Richmond, Missouri, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018, at Shirkey Nursing and rehab center. She was born February 6, 1927 in Lexington, MO to the late George and Thurza (Finley) Nevels.

Kathleen was an avid learner, earning a bachelors degree from William Jewell and a Masters of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She found great joy in teaching especially in the elementary school. Inspired by Billy Graham she used her time off from teaching to do missionary work.

She is survived by her daughter Kari Perry and her fiancé Rod Ennen, her special nieces Sharon Forsha and Gail Colburn and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents Alice is preceded in death by her husband Harland L. Perry who died November 16, 2008; and her 13 siblings.

Funeral service will be Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10 AM at the Englewood Baptist Church 1900 NE Englewood Rd, Kansas City, MO 64118. Interment will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery.
