Aggie Bird, 78, of Kansas City, MO passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at The Rock of KC 12750 N Winan Rd, Kansas City, MO 64163 burial will follow at Second Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 pm at Terrace Park Funeral Home 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions be made to The Alzheimer's Association of Kansas City: 3846 W 75th St, Prairie Village, KS 66208.
Aggie was born February 28, 1936 in Peru, Indiana but spent most of her life living in Missouri. She was member of The Rock of KC and enjoyed several years of retirement after a career in teaching and being an executive secretary. She was the youngest of 11 children.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Ed Bird, and survived by her Children Joe, Theresa and Katy and Grandchildren, Jared, Kaitlen, Austin, Rebekah and Christa.
Aggie loved Jesus with her whole heart and served Him well during her lifetime.
