Adam Pumphrey, 32, Kansas City, MO, passed peacefully in slumber June 1, 2013. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life and recount their times together in their own way at a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 15th beginning at Noon, followed by a service at 2 pm in Mount Moriah Terrace Park, 801 NW 108th St, KCMO 64155. Adam was born October 26, 1980. He loved being surrounded by family and friends. His biggest accomplishment in life was his son. Adam was a very proud father. His love of cooking was no secret. His meatballs will be greatly missed. He was incredibly kind hearted and always gave everyone a hug or a handshake. He worked since the age of 16 for his father's business, Family Pools. Adam's smile and personality left a mark on numerous lives. He is held dear, and Adam will be profoundly missed. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Louise Pumphrey, uncle Brian Pumphrey, and cousin Branden Pumphrey. He is survived by his son, John Michael Pumphrey, parents, Michael and Debra Pumphrey, sister Andrea Vinson (Harold), grandparents Raymond and Irene Marcellus, FL, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
