Adalene Mae "Ad" (Phebus) Stagner, 93, joined her loved ones in Heaven on January 31st. She was born in Humboldt, Kansas on October 13th, 1920 to Ralph and Lola Phebus. She married Charles Stagner on July 4th, 1941. She is survived by her daughter, Jan and her husband, Larry Spencer; granddaughter, Kim and husband, Ron Lichte; grandson, Scott and wife, Julie Spencer and great granddaughters, Alex and Katey. She grew up on a farm around Chanute, KS. She stayed in touch with many friends that she grew up with and went to school with. After marriage, she lived in Wichita and worked for Boeing until 1958. She moved to Kansas City, MO. She started working at Burns and McDonnell Engineers, Architects and Consultants on August 3, 1959 and retired March 31, 1987 from her position as Corporate Librarian and Manager of the Technical Library. She touched so many lives in a loving and positive way and made and maintained friends of all ages. She was Gram to so many. She was an avid Royals Baseball fan. She loved nature, animals, gardening, playing cards- especially Pitch and most of all her family and friends. She never missed anyone's birthday or special occasion.
