Jim was an extremely dedicated and faithful family man. He dearly loved and cared for his wife, Bette, whose struggle with advancing Altzheimer’s Disease he managed honorably with great devotion and humility.
Jim’s interests and commitments extended beyond his many business ventures. He helped to found North Woods Christian Church, and served on the Board of Directors of Baptist Medical Center and Mercantile Bank for many years. He gladly offered counsel and business advice as a highly sought after mentor, advisor, and friend to countless who valued his wisdom, his friendship, and his keen interest in their lives.
Later in his life, Jim began to study art with diligence and enthusiasm, and created beautiful plein air paintings. He pursued the process of improving his artistic skills with the same diligence and work ethic he invested in his business life. His art provides a lasting memory for all who are fortunate to own one of his pieces.
Jim Love, husband, father, Grandad, Great-Grandad, brother, uncle, and friend will always be fondly remembered with our love and deepest appreciation.
