Wayne Blankenship, 82, of Kansas City, MO passed away August 21, 2016 at home.
Wayne was born in McLean, TX in 1933. He was a graduate of Stinnett High School in 1953.
He married Ann Matlock on November 18, 1961.
Wayne retired from Farmland Industries in 1995 after 28 years of service. During his retirement he enjoyed traveling with Ann and attending his grandchildren’s activities.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ann, children Sherrie Brandt (Tom); Robert Blankenship (Karen); Shirley Uhlmer (Donnie); grandchildren Jessica Wheeler (Justin); Brooks Cohick (Emily); Dakota Blankenship (Maggie); McKenzie Blankenship; Mark Uhlmer; Jacob Brandt and two great-grandchildren: Zoey and William Wheeler.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11 AM in Terrace Park Cemetery, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
